The Day's Summary

Tennessee baseball's fall schedule continued Friday with another intrasquad scrimmage, with On3 filing updates and notes from the Oct. 23 workout. The date was another step in the Vols' long autumn run of internal competition.

These scrimmages function as the program's laboratory during the fall. Lineups are shuffled, pitchers are stretched out, and freshmen get measured against Southeastern Conference-level competition for the first time — all of it feeding the evaluations that will shape the roster heading toward the spring.
