The Day's Summary

Tennessee baseball continued its fall work Friday with an intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 30, with On3 publishing the statistics and notes from the day. The date was another step in the process that shapes the roster, as returners and newcomers compete for the roles that will be settled before opening day.

The day also brought a scheduling clarification from Local 3 News: the Vols' fall exhibition against Kennesaw State has been canceled, but the Nov. 8 game at Erlanger Park remains on. That gives Tennessee at least one fall date away from home still to come before the schedule turns toward winter.
