The Day's Summary

Friday's Tennessee softball news came from the recruiting trail, as four-star pitcher Megan Kuiper discussed choosing the Lady Vols in a question-and-answer piece with Sports Illustrated. Her decision adds another arm to Tennessee's future pitching staffs.

Kuiper's own account of the choice also offers a window into what head coach Karen Weekly's program presents to elite recruits. For a program built on sustained success in the circle, landing a pitcher of her caliber keeps the pipeline that matters most to the Lady Vols moving forward.
