Lady Vols add another ranked opponent to their list of victims

Tennessee's women's volleyball team has beaten another ranked opponent, recording yet another win over a nationally rated side as the Lady Vols' impressive run of results continues.

Taking down ranked teams is the clearest measure of where a program stands, and doing it more than once shows this is no accident. Tennessee has repeatedly risen to the occasion against quality opposition, and this latest result adds further weight to the idea that the Lady Vols belong in the national conversation.

For Tennessee, wins like this one matter for both confidence and positioning. Every ranked scalp strengthens the team's case as postseason play approaches and sends a message that the Lady Vols can trouble anyone on their schedule.
