Tennessee stuns No. 4 Kentucky with a reverse-sweep comeback

Tennessee's women's volleyball team pulled off a major upset, stunning No. 4 Kentucky with a reverse-sweep comeback victory.

A reverse sweep is among the hardest results to achieve in the sport: it means Tennessee fell behind and then won three straight sets with no margin for error, against one of the highest-ranked teams in the nation. Completing that kind of turnaround against the No. 4 team says a great deal about the Lady Vols' resilience and belief when a match appears to be slipping away.

For Tennessee, this is a signature win. Upsetting Kentucky in this fashion gives the Lady Vols a result that will stand out on their record, lifts the entire program, and announces that Tennessee is capable of beating anyone in the country.
