Lady Vols run their winning streak to seven straight matches

Tennessee's women's volleyball team has pushed its winning streak to seven matches in a row, adding another victory to a run that has steadily built momentum for the Lady Vols.

A streak of that length reflects consistency more than any single performance. Winning seven straight in conference-level competition means Tennessee has handled different opponents and different match situations without letting its standard slip from one outing to the next.

For the Lady Vols, the value of the run goes beyond the number itself. Each additional win strengthens the team's standing and its confidence as the season moves toward its most important stretch, and it puts the rest of the league on notice that Tennessee is one of the sides nobody wants to face right now.
