Forecasts made ahead of Tennessee's exhibition meeting with Duke

Ahead of Tennessee's exhibition game against Duke, predictions were offered for how the matchup between the Volunteers and the Blue Devils might play out. Exhibition games are difficult to forecast, because rotations and minutes are rarely handled the way they would be once the regular season begins.

For Tennessee, the meeting with Duke was less about a final score than about testing itself against a high-level opponent. Whatever the predictions suggested beforehand, the game itself gave Rick Barnes a chance to evaluate his team in a demanding setting before the season starts in earnest.
