How Tennessee's exhibition game against Duke unfolded

Tennessee faced Duke in an exhibition game, with live coverage tracking the action as it developed. Exhibitions of this kind give supporters an early look at a new-look roster and give the coaching staff a first real test of combinations and rotations outside of practice.

For the Volunteers, the Duke matchup was a measuring-stick exercise before the regular season. The running account of the game captured the flow of a contest that, while not counting in the standings, offered Tennessee useful evidence about what is working and what still needs work.
