Two Vols Land in Top-100 Player Rankings, and Opinions Are Split

Two Tennessee men's basketball players have been placed in top-100 player rankings ahead of the season, and according to On3, opinion is split on how those Volunteers were slotted.

Top-100 lists are preseason conversation pieces, but disagreement over them usually signals something real: players whose roles, efficiency, or upside are read very differently by different evaluators. Tennessee having two names in the discussion at all reflects the talent level Rick Barnes has assembled.

The rankings will be settled on the court. If either Vol outperforms his placement, Tennessee's backcourt and rotation look stronger than the split opinions suggested, and the debate becomes an early-season storyline to watch.
