Caldwell's Full Postgame Remarks After the Exhibition Win Over Florida A&M

Rocky Top Insider published the full account of what Kim Caldwell said after Tennessee's exhibition win over Florida A&M. The Lady Vols head coach spoke following her team's first game outing of the season, with a roster built largely from new players.

An exhibition postgame is a coach's first public evaluation of a new group. Caldwell's remarks were an opportunity to hear how she judged the performance in the areas exhibitions are meant to test, from effort and pace to how well a new team functioned together.

What a coach chooses to emphasize after a game like this usually previews the practice plan that follows. For the Lady Vols, Caldwell's comments point the way toward the regular-season opener and the standards this team will be held to once the results start counting.
