What Caldwell Had to Say Following Tennessee's Exhibition Win Over Florida A&M

Kim Caldwell addressed the media after Tennessee's exhibition win over Florida A&M, and Sports Illustrated gathered everything the Lady Vols head coach said following the game. Her comments covered a team that had just gotten its first game action together against outside opposition.

Postgame remarks after an exhibition tend to focus on evaluation rather than celebration. For a coach with a heavily new roster, the value of the night is in what it reveals: which combinations worked, where the execution matched the plan, and where the work in practice still has to go.

Caldwell's assessment matters because it signals what this staff will prioritize next. The exhibition result itself will fade quickly, but the lessons Tennessee takes from it into regular-season preparation are what the Lady Vols will carry forward.
