Looking back at the history between the Lady Vols and Florida A&M

Vols Wire traced the all-time basketball series between the Lady Vols and Florida A&M, putting the latest meeting between the programs into historical context. The review looked at how the two teams have matched up when they have faced each other over the years.

Series history matters most as background. Past meetings do not decide a new game, especially in a preseason setting with a reshaped Tennessee roster, but they do show how familiar, or unfamiliar, an opponent has been for the program.

For the Lady Vols, the Florida A&M meeting is another entry in that record. The focus for Kim Caldwell's team remains on the present group and what this season's version can become.
