Lady Vols forward named to the Katrina McClain Award watch list

A Tennessee forward has been named to the watch list for the Katrina McClain Award, according to Yahoo Sports — preseason recognition for one of the Lady Vols' frontcourt pieces.

The McClain Award honors the nation's top power forward, and a spot on its watch list places the Tennessee forward in the national conversation at her position before the season's first games. For a rebuilt roster looking for established footholds, national watch-list honors are an early sign of respect.
