Tennessee Opens Its Season With a Basketball Exhibition

Tennessee opens its season with a basketball exhibition, using the game as the first step into the new campaign for the Lady Vols. The roundtable.io report frames the exhibition as the opening act of Tennessee's season.

Starting with an exhibition gives the Lady Vols room to find their footing. Tennessee can treat the game as a live rehearsal, settling into game speed and game situations before the results carry regular-season consequences.

Even so, an opener sets a tone. How Tennessee looks in its first time out, exhibition or not, gives fans and the team itself an early sense of where the Lady Vols stand as the season gets under way.
