The Day's Summary

Recruiting led the Lady Vols' day again Wednesday, with an elite recruit committing to Tennessee, according to Sports Illustrated. The report confirmed the commitment without naming the recruit or giving a class, position or ranking in the material available, but any commitment described at that level is significant news for Kim Caldwell's program as it builds its future rosters.

Caldwell herself also looked ahead, previewing the 2026-27 season in an appearance on The Mike Keith Show. The interview gave her a chance to discuss the upcoming campaign in her own words before it begins, with the full recap of what she said carried in the original report.
