The Day's Summary

Player voices from media day continued to emerge Friday. Harper Peterson and Avery Mills were among the Lady Vols heard on the occasion, with a report collecting everything the two players had to say as they helped introduce this Tennessee team publicly and offered their perspective on the season ahead.

Rylie Theuerkauf added a clearer note on identity, saying she has taken to Tennessee's pace and describing the Lady Vols as a team with a collective edge. Pace is central to how Tennessee wants to play, so her comfort with the tempo speaks to fit, while the shared edge she described points to a common motivation inside a roster that feels it has something to prove.
