Georgia and Alabama favored in updated SEC title odds, with Tennessee at 2 percent after Week 9

The updated SEC Championship odds from Polymarket after Week 9 point toward a rematch between Georgia and Alabama in Atlanta, with those two described as the predicted finalists. The market still leaves room for movement with four games remaining for teams in the race, and other contenders including Texas, Ole Miss, LSU and Kentucky remain in the running. The first weekend of November was presented as one that could clarify a crowded conference picture.

Behind the two favorites, Ole Miss held the next-best figure at 9 percent after a 45-15 win over Auburn, followed by LSU at 7 percent, Kentucky at 6 percent and Texas at 5 percent. LSU's closing path includes hosting Alabama and Texas before trips to Tennessee and Arkansas. Kentucky, at 7-1 in Will Stein's first year, faces Tennessee on the road, Florida at home, Missouri on the road and Louisville at home. Texas, 6-2 after beating Mississippi State 31-3, still has a difficult run that includes Missouri, LSU, Arkansas and Texas A&M.

Tennessee was listed at 2 percent, alongside Florida, Missouri and Oklahoma. The Vols are 6-2 and ranked No. 16, coming off a loss and a bye week, and they host No. 8 Kentucky this weekend in a game that could lift those odds if they win. Their remaining games after Kentucky are against Texas A&M, LSU and Vanderbilt, so the path is demanding but still offers direct chances against teams around them in the race.

At the bottom of the market, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Auburn and Arkansas were each given 1 percent, while Vanderbilt was listed at 0 percent. That spread underlines how much of the SEC race is now concentrated at the top, but also why November matters: several of the long shots still play the contenders, and results in those head-to-head games can quickly change both the standings and the odds.
