2028 four-star cornerback Tyler Boyd sees progress in Tennessee's defense

Tyler Boyd, a four-star cornerback in the 2028 recruiting class, has come away impressed with the improvements Tennessee has made on the defensive side of the ball, according to a Sports Illustrated report.

For the Volunteers, that kind of early feedback matters. Boyd is still well out from a college decision as a member of the 2028 class, and a positive view of the defense at this stage puts Tennessee in a stronger position as his recruitment develops and other programs continue to pursue him.
