Tennessee ranks sixth in Nielsen's list of the most-watched college football teams of the 2026 season through Week 7, averaging 5.681 million viewers. Texas leads the list at 8.398 million, followed by Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama and Indiana, with Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Michigan rounding out the top 10.

Two Tennessee games have drawn more than 8 million viewers on average. The Volunteers' Week 4 game against Texas drew 9.75 million, and their Third Saturday in October win over Alabama in Week 7 averaged 8.1 million on ABC.

The Nielsen figures cover networks including ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC and others, while SEC Network is not measured for viewership in this data.
