Tennessee Lands Cornerback Preston Glasco After Battle With Georgia and Alabama

Cornerback Preston Glasco has chosen Tennessee, picking the Volunteers over Georgia and Alabama. The decision gives Tennessee a head-to-head recruiting win against two of the Southeastern Conference programs it measures itself against most closely.

For Tennessee, the value goes beyond adding a cornerback to its future plans. When the same defensive back draws serious interest from Georgia and Alabama and still selects the Vols, it is a direct result against the competition Tennessee faces in recruiting and on the field.

Glasco now becomes part of Tennessee's plans in the secondary. His choice closes this part of the contest in Tennessee's favor, with Georgia and Alabama left as the programs he turned down.
