Tennessee fans question projected AP ranking following win over Alabama

Tennessee's win over Alabama has been followed by frustration among fans over where the Volunteers are expected to land in the AP Top 25. The projected placement, reported by Yahoo Sports, drew a negative reaction from fans who appear to believe the ranking does not fully reflect the result against Alabama.

A victory over Alabama would ordinarily be expected to carry significant weight with voters, and that contrast is at the center of the response. Fans reacting to the projection have taken issue with the AP poll outlook after one of Tennessee's most notable wins.

For Tennessee, the reaction underscores how closely the polls are being watched as the season continues. The final AP Top 25 placement will show whether voters gave the Alabama win the credit many fans believe it deserves.
