Former Vol Quarterback Weighs In on MacIntyre Against South Carolina

A former Tennessee quarterback has offered his view of George MacIntyre's performance against South Carolina, in a piece published by Sports Illustrated. The item centers on how MacIntyre played in that matchup, as assessed by someone who has played the position for the Volunteers.

That perspective carries particular interest for Tennessee because quarterback play is judged not only on results, but on decision-making and execution within the offense. A former Vol at the position brings first-hand familiarity with those demands when evaluating a current player's outing.

For Tennessee, attention on MacIntyre's showing against South Carolina reflects the ongoing focus on the quarterback room and how individual performances shape the picture going forward.
