Predictions Roundup for Tennessee's Game Against South Carolina

It is game day for Tennessee, and the predictions are rolling in ahead of the Volunteers' meeting with South Carolina. Sports Illustrated has weighed in with its picks for the matchup, joining the usual wave of forecasts that arrive once kickoff day is finally here.

Games like this one draw prediction pieces from every direction because there is plenty riding on how Tennessee handles an SEC opponent. The picks themselves reflect how the two teams are viewed coming into the day, with each side of the matchup getting its case made before the ball is kicked off.

For Tennessee, the value in a day like this is simple: the talk ends and the result takes over. Whatever the forecasts say, the Volunteers now get their chance to answer them on the field against South Carolina.
