2028 Four-Star Athlete Kylen Johnson Narrows His Focus to Five Schools Ahead of a Summer Decision

Four-star athlete Kylen Johnson, a versatile prospect in the 2028 class from Alabama, is seeing his recruitment take shape. He holds more than 20 offers, but five programs are beginning to separate themselves from the rest of the field, according to On3.

Part of what makes Johnson an intriguing target is that schools do not all see him the same way. Some programs want him on offense and others project him on defense, and his position preference is a factor in how he is weighing the contenders. He has also discussed upcoming visits as he works through what each finalist offers.

Johnson is planning to make his commitment decision in the summer, which gives those leading schools a defined window to make their case. How the position question settles, and what he sees on his visits, should go a long way toward determining where the Alabama standout ultimately lands.
