TikTok host Jake Shane singing Rocky Top raises question of Tennessee fandom

TikToker and podcast host Jake Shane has been seen singing "Rocky Top Baby," a moment that has prompted a simple question in the Knoxville News Sentinel's telling: is he a Tennessee Vols fan?

Singing along to Rocky Top is closely associated with Tennessee, so the performance was enough to draw attention from Vols followers and to spark speculation about where Shane's allegiances lie. The available account frames it as an open question rather than a confirmed declaration of fandom.

For Tennessee fans, moments like this carry weight beyond the song itself, as a familiar anthem turning up in popular culture tends to be read as a sign of connection to the program. Whether Shane was signaling genuine support or simply joining in with a well-known song remains, on this evidence, unanswered.
