Josh Heupel addresses Tennessee's defeat at South Carolina

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel recapped his team's loss at South Carolina, in comments reported by Yahoo Sports. The piece centers on Heupel's own postgame account of the defeat on the road.

No additional details from Heupel's remarks were included in the material available for this story, so the specifics of his assessment are not described here. What is clear from the headline is that the focus was on explaining what went wrong in the South Carolina game.

For Tennessee, Heupel's recap marks the first public accounting from the head coach after the loss, as the Volunteers turn from the result in Columbia toward the rest of their season.
