Heupel offers no quarterback update during Tennessee's bye week

Josh Heupel stayed quiet on Tennessee's quarterback situation during the team's bye week, offering no update on the position. The lack of comment leaves the public picture unchanged, with no new information provided about where things stand.

A bye week can be a natural point for a status check, since the team is away from a game that week. In this case, Heupel did not use the break to add anything, keeping whatever evaluation or decision-making is happening out of public view.

For Tennessee, that means the quarterback question carries forward without clarification. Until Heupel chooses to address it, there is no updated word from the head coach to go on.
