Tennessee Opens as the Favorite in Early Betting Line Against Kentucky

The opening odds for Tennessee's matchup with Kentucky have the Volunteers listed as the favorites over the Wildcats, according to Yahoo Sports. The early line puts Tennessee in front before the game, a starting position that reflects how the matchup is being viewed as it first reaches the market.

Being favored in the opening odds does not settle anything on the field, and early lines can move as the week goes on and more information becomes available. For now, though, the initial number gives Tennessee the edge over Kentucky, with the Volunteers carrying the expectation into their meeting with the Wildcats.
