SEC Programs Battle for Carolina Recruits as New Leaders Emerge

Recruiting battles across the Carolinas are shifting, with new leaders emerging in several recruitments and at least one potential flip drawing attention. The latest intel from stops in the region points to a fluid picture, as programs continue to push for key targets and favorites begin to separate themselves.

Among the SEC storylines, Georgia and Texas A&M are battling for an elite linebacker, South Carolina is trending with key targets, and LSU is threatening an ACC commitment. Those head-to-head fights illustrate how crowded the Carolinas have become for SEC staffs trying to land talent from the region.

For Tennessee, developments like these matter because the same SEC opponents on the schedule are also competing for many of the same regional prospects. As leaders change and commitments come under pressure, the Carolinas will remain a closely watched battleground in the weeks ahead.
