Heupel Sums Up Tennessee's Upset of Alabama in a Single Word

Tennessee's upset of Alabama came with a simple explanation from head coach Josh Heupel. According to the report, Heupel said out loud the one word he believes explains how the Volunteers pulled off the win.

The remark stood out because it reduced a major upset to a single idea. Instead of offering a long breakdown, Heupel pointed to that one word as the reason behind Tennessee's result against Alabama.

For Tennessee, a win of that kind over Alabama is the sort of result that can define a stretch of a season. Heupel's comment gives the upset a clear message from the head coach himself, capturing in one word what he credited for his team getting it done.
