Tennessee's Final Month Brings a Playoff Race and a Record Watch for DeSean Bishop

Tennessee heads into the final month of its season with plenty still on the line, headlined by a push for the playoff and a record involving running back DeSean Bishop. That combination sets up a closing stretch where every remaining game carries added weight for the Volunteers and their fans.

The playoff implications mean Tennessee cannot afford to treat any of these late-season games as routine. At the same time, Bishop's place in the record conversation gives the run game its own storyline to follow each week, adding individual stakes on top of the team's larger goal.

Together, those threads are why the final month shapes up as must-see football for Tennessee. How the Volunteers handle the pressure, and how Bishop's pursuit unfolds alongside the playoff race, will define how this season is remembered.
