Tennessee to wear all-white road uniforms at South Carolina on Saturday
Tennessee will go with an all-white look for its trip to South Carolina, the program announced Thursday. The Volunteers will wear white helmets, white jerseys and white pants when they face the Gamecocks on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium.
No. 11 Tennessee brings a 6-1 overall record and a 3-1 mark in SEC play into the game, while South Carolina is 3-3 overall and 1-3 in the conference. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET, with ESPN carrying the broadcast.
It is a combination Tennessee has already used on the road this season, wearing the same all-white set in a 45-24 win at Georgia Tech and again in a 24-17 win at Arkansas. At home, the Volunteers have mostly stuck with their classic look, wearing it for the season-opening 56-9 win over Furman, the 42-9 win over Kennesaw State on Sept. 19 and the 20-17 loss to Texas on Sept. 26. Their one alternate so far was the Smokey Grey Neyland Legacy set worn against Auburn on Oct. 3, a tribute to former head coach General Robert R. Neyland a century after he was hired to lead the program.
This is also Tennessee's first season with Adidas as its apparel provider, after an 11-year run with Nike that ended before the 2026 campaign. The change brought tweaks rather than an overhaul, most noticeably a new number font developed with Adidas and drawn from the classic block numerals in the program's history. Inside the back of the collar, the words referencing giving his all for Tennessee pay homage to the sign players tap on their way out of the locker room, and the collar also carries the Power T inside a circle, a nod to the Adidas uniforms Tennessee wore in the 1990s.
