DeSean Bishop Drawing Heisman Trophy Attention for Tennessee

Tennessee standout DeSean Bishop is starting to draw attention in the Heisman Trophy conversation, according to Rocky Top Insider. The report points to growing buzz around Bishop as one of the Volunteers' featured players, putting his name alongside the award that recognizes the most outstanding player in college football.

That kind of attention matters for Tennessee because the Heisman race tends to follow players on teams in the national spotlight. When a Volunteer enters that discussion, it reflects both on his individual standing and on the program's visibility as the season moves forward.

For now, the development is about recognition rather than any formal step in the race. Bishop's place in the conversation will depend on what follows, but the early buzz gives Tennessee a prominent name to watch as the Heisman picture takes shape.
