Greg McElroy factors Alabama battle into his Tennessee-South Carolina prediction

ESPN's Greg McElroy has predicted a final score for Tennessee's matchup with South Carolina, and he pointed to the physical toll of the Volunteers' previous game in making his assessment.

McElroy noted that Tennessee just went to war last week against Alabama, framing that demanding contest as relevant context as the Volunteers turn around to face South Carolina. How a team recovers from a game like that can shape its readiness for the next SEC test.

For Tennessee, McElroy's prediction puts the focus on response and recovery. The Volunteers will need to show they have moved past the Alabama game and are ready to handle South Carolina.
