Tennessee's big win over Alabama excites top recruiting targets

Tennessee's romp over Alabama has left superstar recruiting targets in a frenzy, according to reporting on the reaction to the Volunteers' win. A decisive victory over Alabama is the kind of result that resonates with prospective players watching Tennessee's program.

For a coaching staff, wins of this scale are often used as evidence of where a program is heading, and the reported excitement among top targets suggests the Alabama result landed with recruits Tennessee is pursuing. The reaction described centers on highly rated targets responding enthusiastically to what the Vols did against the Crimson Tide.

For Tennessee, turning that excitement into commitments is the longer task, but the immediate impact of the Alabama win is clear in the recruiting response. The result has given the Volunteers a notable moment to point to with the targets they most want.
