Debate Continues Over a Key Call in Tennessee's Loss to South Carolina

Tennessee's loss to South Carolina is still drawing attention for a single decision during the game, with an A to Z Sports report arguing that the call has not received as much discussion as it deserves. According to the report, the decision arrived at an important moment and was viewed as unusual for that situation.

The report presents the call as the most consequential one in the game and contends that it cost Tennessee a chance to win. The material available for the report does not identify who described the call that way, and it does not specify the details of the play involved.

For Tennessee, that leaves the South Carolina result tied to a disputed moment rather than only to how the game was played. The report's focus is on whether a different decision at that point might have changed the outcome.
