A Blunt Look at How Joey Halzle Is Performing as Tennessee's Offensive Coordinator

A new assessment from A to Z Sports takes a direct look at the work Joey Halzle is doing as Tennessee's offensive coordinator, framing the discussion as a hard truth about his tenure in the role.

The piece centers on Halzle and the job he has done leading the Volunteers' offense. Rather than offering only praise or only criticism, its premise is that an honest evaluation has to account for what the coordinator's performance actually shows.

For Tennessee, that kind of scrutiny comes with the position. The offensive coordinator's decisions and results shape how the Volunteers are judged, which is why a straightforward appraisal of Halzle's work is likely to draw attention from fans following the program.
