ESPN analyst Cole Cubelic expects a difficult test for Tennessee against South Carolina

ESPN analyst Cole Cubelic believes Tennessee faces a difficult test against South Carolina, describing the matchup as a tall task for the Volunteers. His assessment points to a game he views as a genuine challenge for Tennessee rather than a straightforward win.

Cubelic also said the matchup made picking a winner especially hard for him before he finally settled on a choice. That difficulty suggests he sees the two teams as close enough that the outcome is far from obvious heading into the game.

For Tennessee, the comments underline how demanding the South Carolina game is expected to be. If an analyst who follows the league closely struggled to separate the teams, the Vols will likely need a strong performance to come out on top.
