Tennessee insider offers unexpected outlook for the Vols over the season's final month

A top Tennessee insider has offered a prediction for how the Volunteers will fare over the final month of the season, according to A to Z Sports. The outlook is described as one that would not have been expected back in August, before the season began.

That framing reflects how much the picture around Tennessee has changed since preseason expectations were set. A forecast that would have seemed unlikely then now forms the basis for discussion as the Vols head into the closing stretch.

The final month will ultimately settle whether that prediction proves accurate. For Tennessee, those remaining weeks carry the greatest weight in defining how this season is judged.
