Tennessee Fans Pleased an Unwelcome Item Will Stay Behind for the Columbia Trip

Tennessee fans got a small piece of welcome news ahead of the Volunteers' trip to Columbia this weekend. One item that supporters could apparently do without will not be traveling with the team for the road game.

The report from A to Z Sports framed the development as a relief for the fan base, even though the item itself was not named in the summary available. For Tennessee, the focus on the field remains the weekend matchup in Columbia.

What it means for the Volunteers is limited to the trip itself, but it is the kind of detail that clearly caught fans' attention in the buildup to the game.
