Tennessee's TJ Metcalf discusses the Volunteers' loss to South Carolina

Tennessee player TJ Metcalf has spoken about the Volunteers' loss to South Carolina, breaking down the defeat from a player's perspective.

Hearing directly from a player after a loss like this gives a different view than the usual postgame summary, focusing on how the game looked and felt to someone who was on the field for it. The material available for this story does not name specific plays, quotes, or turning points from Metcalf's comments, so those details are not stated here.

For Tennessee, player accountability after a conference loss matters as the team tries to move forward. Metcalf addressing the South Carolina game publicly is part of that process as the Volunteers turn their attention to what comes next.
