Tennessee opponents checked against KenPom and both major national polls

A look at Tennessee's schedule through three different ranking lenses shows where the Volunteers' opponents stand in KenPom, along with the AP Top 25 and the Coaches Poll. The comparison brings together a computer-based rating and the two traditional weekly polls to give a fuller picture of the opposition.

Using all three measures side by side helps put individual matchups in context, since the polls and KenPom can value the same teams differently. For Tennessee, that means the strength of upcoming and past opponents can be judged by more than a single ranking on any given week.

For Volunteers fans following the schedule, the breakdown offers a quick reference for which opponents are carrying national recognition and which ones rate highly in the analytics, shaping expectations for the tests still ahead.
